1. Introduction
These terms govern use of the Lefsenlayerco website and studio services operated by 合同会社Lefsenlayerco in Nakameguro, Tokyo (recording, mixing, mastering, podcast support and related work). By accepting a written or email quote and paying the deposit, you agree to these terms.
Commercial disclosures are in our Legal notice; personal data is covered by the Privacy policy. Browsing the site or sending a contact message alone does not create a contract.
2. Definitions
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Quote | Our document or email stating date, scope, tax-inclusive price, deposit and delivery timing. |
| Session | Booked time in the studio or attended remote production. |
| Offline work | Mix, master or edit performed after we receive your files. |
| Deposit | 30% of the quoted total paid to confirm a booking. |
| Deliverables | Audio files and exports supplied under the quote. |
3. Quotes and bookings
We aim to send a quote within 2 business days after contact form, 03-5724-8910 or [email protected] enquiries. Quotes stay valid for 30 days. The slot is held once you accept and the deposit clears. Until then, the time may be offered to others.
Form messages are relayed via FormSubmit in the United States (Privacy policy). Direct email is treated the same. The contracting client must be at least 18 years old.
4. Prices
Listed rates on Services include 10% consumption tax. The accepted quote controls the price. Overtime is billed in 30-minute blocks at the relevant hourly rate (for example Vocal recording at ¥13,200). Options not on the quote are charged only after your written approval.
Business quotes may show net amounts such as ¥12,000. See how mix pricing works for planning notes.
5. Payment
Pay the 30% deposit to confirm; pay the balance after a recording session or before final delivery of offline work. Methods: bank transfer and on-site card terminal when available. We do not store card numbers.
Invoice clients pay within 30 days of the invoice date. We may charge statutory late interest. We may withhold final files until full payment.
6. Performance and delivery
Studio hours: Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–22:00; closed Monday and Sunday. Evening sessions by appointment.. The live room holds up to 7 people; we operate 2 iso booths and a 24-input console setup (About the studio).
We deliver via secure download or your media. Revisions follow service pages—for example Mixing includes up to 2 rounds unless the quote says otherwise. Major creative changes need a new quote.
7. Changes and cancellation
Notify us by [email protected] or 03-5724-8910 at least 5 days before the session to cancel free of charge or move the date once without fee. Later cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the deposit, subject to discussion in exceptional cases.
If we cancel, we offer a new date or refund amounts paid for that booking. Custom sessions are not mail-order goods with cooling-off rights (Legal notice).
Force majeure is handled under Article 15.
8. Studio conduct
Treat equipment and rooms carefully and follow engineer safety instructions. No smoking indoors. We may stop a session that endangers people or gear. Damage caused by negligence may be charged at cost. Gear you bring remains your responsibility.
If guests appear on podcasts, you obtain voice and likeness permissions (Podcast rights guide). Sign the Data processing agreement when we process third-party personal data on your behalf.
9. File retention
We keep session and project files for 12 months after final delivery or the last session, then delete them. Back up your files within that window. Extended storage needs a written quote. We use redundancy but do not promise permanent storage.
10. Intellectual property
You retain rights in compositions and lyrics you provide. You warrant necessary clearances; we may refuse infringing material.
After full payment, we grant you use of recordings and mixes within the scope stated on the quote. We do not take copyright in your works. Portfolio or credit use needs your written consent.
We do not use your recordings to train AI or clone voices without specific written permission. See also our Disclaimer.
11. Limitation of liability
We perform services with professional care but do not guarantee chart success or a particular artistic outcome. Except for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability is limited to direct, ordinary damages capped at the tax-inclusive quote total for that job. Indirect loss and lost profits are excluded. This does not limit liability for personal injury where the law forbids it.
12. Personal data
Processing follows our Privacy policy, Cookie policy and, where needed, the Data processing agreement. The site is hosted by さくらインターネット株式会社 (さくらインターネット株式会社).
13. Complaints and disputes
Contact [email protected] or our address at 目黒区中目黒1-5-8 レフセンビル3F, 153-0061, Tokyo. Representative 森川 健太 responds within about 2 business days.
Mandatory consumer rules prevail over conflicting clauses. Governing law is Japan; the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction for business disputes, without prejudice to consumer venue rules.
14. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as earthquakes, public health orders, major transport failure or long outages. We will contact you promptly to reschedule or refund unused services.
15. Changes
We may update these terms; the version on the site from 19 October 2026 applies to quotes accepted after that date. Confirmed bookings keep the terms in force when you accepted. The English text is informational; Japanese is authoritative. FAQ and Guides are helpful but do not override these terms.
